Meet Daryl

Founder of The Cruise Advisor

Daryl Shail spent years as an Emmy-winning visual effects executive before building a second career around a lifelong love of travel and the sea. He founded The Cruise Advisor to bring a higher standard of professionalism and support to the cruise industry. He is certified by the Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO) and is a member of the Association of Canadian Travel Agents and Travel Advisors (ACTA) and the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA).

Daryl works exclusively with Canadians looking for premium and luxury experiences at sea. He personally reviews ships, itineraries, hotels for stays before or after your cruise, and seeks out shore experiences worth recommending so his clients have the best possible information when building their ideal holiday.

His favourite destinations include the Caribbean, Eastern Europe, and the Mediterranean.
